Conditions of participation

By registering for the race, the participant agrees to the conditions of participation and the rules of the SLOVAKMAN Triathlon event. The participant is fully aware that this is a physically demanding event and will start the race adequately prepared.

Entry fee payment

The entry fee is paid by bank transfer and must be credited to the account within 7 working days of registration. The participant will appear on the start list only after payment has been received.

The participant bears all bank charges associated with the transfer; otherwise, the difference will be charged at race check-in.

If the amount is not credited within the specified period, the registration will be cancelled and the participant loses the right to a SLOT in the original price tier. On re-registration, the participant will be assigned a SLOT at the current price level.

Cancellation and transfer of entry

The entry fee is non-refundable. It can be transferred to another participant no later than 30 days before the race.

The entry can be deferred to the next edition of the event solely for health reasons, which must be supported by a medical certificate. If the entry fee changes for the following year, the participant with a deferred entry may be charged the difference.

Event rules

The event is held in accordance with the applicable rules of the Slovak Triathlon Union (STÚ) and these race regulations. Every participant takes part at their own risk and is obliged to observe road traffic regulations. The organiser reserves the right to make necessary technical changes to the race regulations due to unforeseen circumstances.

Licence

At check-in, participants must present a valid licence from the STÚ, the Czech Triathlon Association (ČTA) or another national federation. Participants without a licence will purchase a one-day licence at check-in at the price set by the current STÚ price list. This does not apply to relay teams and SLOVAKMAN Kolečko participants.

Refreshments

Bike: 1 aid station, every 30 km — water, isotonic drink, energy bars, gels, Cola and bananas.

Run: aid stations approximately every 1.5 km. Water and isotonic drink at all stations; ice, energy drink, bananas, melons, Cola, energy bars and gels at selected stations.
